Greenfield Tree Committee operates a nursery, growing trees for planting in public spaces in Greenfield. Residents - and tenants with property owner’s permission - can request a free tree to be planted on the tree belt in front of their home or in front yards, within 20 feet of the street or sidewalk.

Unless there are overhead constraints, trees planted will be shade trees, not small, ornamental trees.
